It’s been a rather aggressive and wickedly cold winter here in Chicago, and as such the Shoewhorse has been doing a shitton more chilling than skateboarding. This hasn’t been all bad because, as you can read about below, Globe sent me some cozy house shoes.

I also got a rather frightening submission from an operative known only as “Mandy’s Pretty Pony.” He/she discovered some startling information about neo-Nazis and their relationship with a Shoewhorse mainstay, theSamba by Adidas.

All in all, it’s been a good season. A little light on the free footwear, but I’m bulking up for spring with a review cluster of mid-height shoes–Half Cabs being the control.
